Bachelor Of Arts In Madrid
In Partnership with Solent University at Southampton
Copywriters are storytellers. Art directors are dreamers with an imagination gone wild. When copywriters and art directors are teamed up to brainstorm ideas for websites, TV commercials, print ads or phone apps, that’s when the magic happens. In our joint program you will earn a Bachelor of Arts and you will also build a portfolio in art direction, copywriting or digital design.
You will study 2 years at Miami Ad School, starting in Madrid and having the chance to travel and study in up to five cities, and a third year completely in Solent University at Southampton.
Program Length & Class Times
The Bachelor of Arts program is a trhee-year program.
Years 1 and 2
They will be divided in 8 quarters. Each quarter is 10 weeks in length followed by a break.
Time classes are set from the morning to the afternoon, and each student will have 3 to 4 hours of class.
Classes are held Monday through Thursday, and Fridays are saved just for recovery classes.
In a student’s second year, their schedule will vary depending on their Quarter Away choice (i.e. classes in their current school, a different Miami Ad School location, an Agency Lab or Internship).
You will spend this year in UK, at Solent University in Southampton.
Intern & Study Abroad
After spending at least one year (4 quarters) in Miami, students can apply to our Quarter Away Program. This program gives students the opportunity to study and intern in up to four more cities around the world. You can even opt to take classes inside an agency or intern in New York, Tokyo, Berlin, Atlanta and other cities around the world. At last count 96% of the students had participated in our Quarter Away Program for at least one quarter. Over 80% of the students spent two or more quarters getting real-world experience.
Intern and get real-world experience before you graduate. Students can opt to spend part of their second year studying and interning in up to four other cities where we have programs. Through partnerships the school has with agencies all over the world, students can get hands-on experience and build their network of industry contacts. Students can build a network of over 200 industry contacts.
This is one of the reasons Miami Ad School’s graduate placement rate is so high.
Tuition & Materials
Years 1 and 2
Tuition of €2,750 is due quarterly. It takes eight quarters which is 2 years to complete the first phase of the Bachelor of Arts program.Total tuition cost for years one and two is €22,000.
Tuition of £9,250 is due annually for US students. For those students who are not from US tuition will be £12,500 the hole year

It’s a must to have your own computer to be able to work at school. Most of our students choose to work with Apple Macintosh (approximately €1,000 to €3,000)

Tools and Media
You’ll learn in our courses how to integrate media old, new, offline and online into the ideal conduit for your branded message. Explore and fuse new technologies like touchscreen and face recognition with traditional advertising.
