SOMETHING TOLD IS NOT THE SAME AS SOMETHING WATCHED. YOU'RE BETTER OFF WATCHING IT.

How to Apply

I wanted the image to feel like it’s source, so every detail would be crucial, lighting, background, model, hair and makeup as costuming. For “Innocence” that meant clean, soft lighting with a youthful ingenue in a dreamy color palette. It was important that the image felt unfussy and delicate with attention to the soft rosebud lips.

The designer was pleased with the tenderness of this image and went on to use it for the packaging, advertising, and point-of-sale collateral for the cosmetic line. The color of the model’s lips was one of the featured colors in the line.
