Terry Balagia is best known for coming up with the name CALL OF DUTY for the Activision video game - which went on to become the most successful video game in the world. He is also a published author/novelist and executive creative director with over 30 years of experience in the advertising and entertainment industry. He has worked with some of the world's most renowned brands, such as Activision, Toyota, Sonicare among others, creating award winning and innovative campaigns, strategies, and products that have generated hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue and recognition. He was also the founder and former CEO of Snowball Media, a full-service digital agency that delivered cutting-edge solutions for clients across various sectors.
Terry is passionate about storytelling and education. He is currently the published author of The Hunt for Frederick Douglass, a historical thriller that explores the legacy and impact of one of America's greatest heroes. The novel is a new release from Silverlight Press and was the #1 new book launched on Amazon in it's first two weeks and is the culmination of years of research, writing, and editing. Terry is also an instructor at Miami Ad School, where he teaches Story Writing and Script Writing and marketing communications to aspiring professionals. He enjoys sharing his insights, skills, and experiences with the next generation of creative thinkers and leaders.
