Copywriters think in stories.

They speak through words the same way art directors speak through visuals. Yes, they know how to write, but that is just the starting point. Copywriters generate ideas with art directors, find the brand’s voice with intention, craft headlines that stop people mid-scroll, shape scripts and digital narratives, plan manifestos, select tone and personality, and ultimately define the verbal soul of an entire campaign. They do not just write ads. They make messages impossible to forget.

The Curriculum

Our copywriting classes are about the strategic use of language to shift human behavior. You’ll dive into a curriculum designed by industry heavyweights to sharpen your conceptual speed and verbal precision. You’ll learn to hunt for the raw human truth, build brand identities from scratch, and craft narratives that work across every medium, from a 15-second script to a global movement. It’s an immersive, high-speed environment where you’ll learn that the right few words aren’t just copy—they’re a catalyst.

You will graduate with a battle-tested portfolio that proves you can think, write, and lead. You will have mastered the art of the “hook,” learned how to defend your ideas in a room full of critics, and developed a unique creative voice that agencies are looking for. By the time you graduate, you won’t just be a writer—you’ll be a conceptual powerhouse ready to enter the industry with the experience, the network, and the language of influence needed to make an immediate impact.

Tuition Costs

Tuition in Miami is $4,996.50 and $4,850.00 in New York, due quarterly. It takes eight quarters (two years) to complete the art direction program. Total tuition cost for the program is $39,972 in Miami and $38,000 in New York. Learn More →

Submit your creative exercises​

Show us who you are as a creative thinker. Do three of our fun creative exercises, OR share examples of things you’ve created.. and do two creative exercises. Finally, schedule an admissions interview with your Admissions Advisor if you haven’t yet connected.
