Designers think in systems.

Designers think in systems. They speak through structure the same way writers speak through words. Yes, they know how to make a logo, but that is just the starting point. Designers generate identities with strategy, choose typography and color with scientific precision, build ecosystems that scale from a phone screen to a skyscraper, shape packaging and physical experiences, and ultimately define the visual DNA of an entire brand. They do not just make things look pretty. They make brands feel real.

The Curriculum

We are about engineering a brand’s entire existence. You’ll dive into a curriculum that bridges the gap between pure art and commercial strategy. You’ll learn to master the technical craft of typography and layout while exploring the deeper psychology of semiotics and information design. It’s an intensive environment where you’ll learn that great design isn’t just a style—it’s a solution that gives a brand the power to dominate its category.

You’ll leave with a portfolio of complete, immersive brand worlds. You will have mastered the tools of the trade—from digital systems to physical craft—and developed the critical eye needed to lead a creative team. By the time you graduate, you won’t just be a designer—you’ll be a visual architect ready to work at the intersection of culture and commerce for the world’s most influential brands.

Tuition Costs

Tuition in Miami is $4,996.50 and $4,850.00 in New York, due quarterly. It takes eight quarters (two years) to complete the art direction program. Total tuition cost for the program is $39,972 in Miami and $38,000 in New York. Learn More →

Submit your creative exercises​

Show us who you are as a creative thinker. Do three of our fun creative exercises, OR share examples of things you’ve created.. and do two creative exercises. Finally, schedule an admissions interview with your Admissions Advisor if you haven’t yet connected.
