It’s a new world—branding is everywhere.
And it’s not just logos, or a fancy website. Everything you touch, read, eat, or experience has been designed by someone. Products, packaging, signage, t-shirts…you name it. From restroom signs to the Declaration of Independence. If it’s great, it makes an impact. If it’s bad, you probably put it on your IG story and tear the company responsible to shreds.
So now, the world’s greatest companies are the world’s greatest brands. Apple knows that the way they package an iPhone literally changes the way you value it. Amazon spends billions on branded boxes.
That’s why brand designers are a hot commodity. THE hot commodity in the creative world. They make the beautiful graphics, the subtle details, all the little things that add up to billion dollar valuation.
Every brand wants them—and there simply aren’t enough good ones to go around.
Here, at Miami Ad School, you’ll become one of the good ones. You’ll work on real-world projects, creating dazzling work for your portfolio (that means your website of work samples). Your teachers, who are working designers themselves, will show you the skills you need in the real world. The school is also a crucial part of the wider design community, including MODA (Museum of Design), AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts), and GRAPHIS (The renowned international magazine of Graphic Design).

Design is a highly skilled, highly demanding profession. That’s why our 2-year portfolio program is built specifically to help you develop the tools required to excel in that high-stakes world. It’s all about learning through experience.
Our curriculum prepares you to work as a designer in agencies, publications, start-ups, and the creative departments of the world’s top brands —all through a carefully built program of mentorship and deliberate practice. You’ll build a personal network to rival the most connected professional, and at the end of it all, you’ll get the same job placement assistance we’ve offered to our graduates for the past 20 years. It’s no wonder our graduates find work at world-leading companies of all kinds.

HANDS ON EXPERIENCE AROUND THE WORLD
For your last quarter in the program, you can apply for Quarter Away.
This program gives students the opportunity to work and learn in up to four more cities around the world. Imagine client meetings in Atlanta, a photoshoot in Tokyo, or a breakthrough brainstorming session in New York. You’ll be working on the front line…and building your worldwide network of professional friends.
Each quarter, we send students a massive list of active opportunities. It’s like a backdoor into the industry. We have partners in cities like:

Submit your creative exercises
Show us who you are as a creative thinker. Do three of our fun creative exercises, OR share examples of things you’ve
created.. and do two creative exercises. Finally, schedule an admissions interview with your Admissions Advisor if you haven’t yet connected.
IMPORTANT PROGRAM INFORMATION
Tuition of $4,850 is due quarterly. It takes eight quarters (two years) to complete the Brand Design program. Total tuition cost for the program is $38,800.
We strive to make Miami Ad School affordable for students of all backgrounds. For our U.S. students, federal loans can often cover some or all of tuition costs. We also offer a variety of scholarships.
