Get Your Bachelor Of Arts In Business Administration (B.A.)
INCLUDING THE PORTFOLIO PROGRAM
The Creative Bachelor including the Portfolio Program is a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (B.A.)
Major: Marketing, Media und Communication; Minor: Creation.
It is three years long, shortenable, and in English. Students can begin four times a year: in January, April, July, and October. Admission requirements are an advanced technical college entrance qualification or a comparable diploma, alternatively completed vocational training, as well as an additional three years of professional experience. If you are a high school graduate but have no work experience – no problem: if you take what is known as the Tutorium (also available from us), it’ll work anyway!
The bachelor’s degree program expands our classic Portfolio Program to include block seminars during the four quarter holidays in the first year. Seven present days during the quarter break in Berlin at Steinbeis SMI. (Five study days from Monday till Friday- plus selfstudies on Saturday and Sunday plus Exam on following Monday and Tuesday). During your second year you do not have present days when you travel the world with our quarter away program (over 800 possible locations around the globe)
(30 days of attendance total + preparatory self-study + academic work + Exam). In the third year, you write your bachelor thesis while you are already on the job whereever you want to be around the globe.)

In our excellent joint program with the Steinbeis SMI University you will not only earn a Bachelor of Arts degree but also build a portfolio in art direction, copywriting or creative technology. This will be your ticket to the creative world of Start-ups, agencies or companies like Google, Facebook, MTv and many more.
Making sure our students learn all of the fundamentals necessary to be a creative is one of our core strengths; but more importantly we offer a global perspective with leading pop culture engineers from every continent making our students better able to put their incredible ideas into action anywhere.
Because the world is constantly changing, we have crafted our own approach. Working together with the Steinbeis School of Management and Innovation, we have created a course of study that combines developing game changing creative concepts with the practical aspects of implementing and strategically marketing them. Intern & Study Abroad
Miami Ad School’s bachelor’s program takes three years to complete, or even shorter if you dare.
One MASE year is divided into four quarters. Your creative learning odyssey begins in Hamburg or Berlin where you will be provided your basic education, plus you attend the Steinbeis SMI campus in Berlin for five days a week during each quarter break.
You spend your second year studying and working as in intern in New York, Paris, Tokyo, London, Stockholm and many other other location possibilities in order to develop a global perspective and you work on your bachelor’s case study. At your base school you will complete your portfolio and graduate in your last quarter.
In your third year, you will work on your bachelor’s thesis while you are already on the job. Schedules are set by the registrar and cannot be modified.
Students will graduate with a diploma and portfolio from Miami Ad School in art direction, copywriting or creative technology. They will receive a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (B.A.) from Steinbeis SMI.
Bachelor’s Degree Courses in Hamburg
In the real world, it’s not a creative free-for-all. There’s a strategy brief the creatives work from. Gain insight into consumers, learn the critical role of account planning and develop brilliant ideas from a creative brief.
Writing for visual and audio media requires specific skills and a fluency in the idiosyncrasies of each medium. Learn how to write scripts that exploit the narrative potential of these environments and different voices. You’ll have the best courses to become a copywriter.
Tools and Media
You’ll learn in our courses how to integrate media old, new, offline and online into the ideal conduit for your branded message. Explore and fuse new technologies like touchscreen and face recognition with traditional advertising.
